I’m one of those people. I get stuck in my head. Thoughts swirl like they’re caught in a Cat 5 hurricane. I swear, I have 55 years’ worth of ideas, thoughts, and breakthroughs stuck inside my head. It’s rather agonizing.
Years ago I had a blog. I wrote on a regular basis. It’s wasn’t a famous blog but I had traffic, regular readers, and a steady stream of comments to approve. I have no interest in “having a blog” or “being a blogger” but I’ve decided to try blogging again — which simply means writing more often. Short, stream-of-consciousness, notepad writing with the hope that low-pressure, low-expectation writing will lead to the type of writing I really want to do: educational, informative, insightful content that brings real value to my clients, students, and readers.
My Blog is and will continue to be personal. Informal. Chatty.
Articles are essays. They are personal only to the extent that they are informed by my experiences, my knowledge, and my perspective. While Blog posts may be just jotted shorthand notes, Articles are full sentences and complete thoughts.
Tutorials are how-to articles. They may or may not include video versions of the same content. Where Articles address Why, Tutorials are about How.
